A few weeks ago, I bought a tack restoration kit for my saddle from Balmoral Equestrian – to revive the colour and condition of my saddle.
I was so impressed with the results and shared this on my page – and Nigel who owns Balmoral Equestrian and makes the products himself, reached out to personally thank me!
Reviews like those mean a lot to small businesses, and he asked me would I consider reviewing a few more products for him, which I agreed to do.
The first product I am reviewing is the Coconut Horse Shampoo – Balmoral Equestrian’s bestselling shampoo, for horses with dry or sensitive skin.
Flash hasn’t had a bath in about three months (don’t @ me), and has sensitive skin that’s prone to dry patches, so I was delighted to try this. It smells divine, and contains gentle and natural ingredients (oatmeal , coconut & almond oils) which soothe the skin and leave a lovely soft shine to the skin and hair – even her legs were shiny!
It contains no detergents or chemicals, so is suitable for use on cuts and scrapes – but is still very effective at removing stains, as you can see from the video! You don’t need much as it lathers up very well – I used far too much the first time, just a coin sized amount will do.
This shampoo can be ordered directly from Balmoral Equestrian, and is currently on sale for £10.50 (almost 20% off) – the product is sent using recycled packaging which is an added bonus!
I also have a few of Balmoral Equestrian’s leather care products to try over the next few weeks, so stay tuned for reviews of those!
